Well Placement Plugin for SLB's (Schlumberger's) Petrel

Petrel is a comprehensive platform used in the oil and gas industry for subsurface exploration, reservoir modeling, and well planning. This plugin can save clients from $250,000 per well in onshore operations to $5–15 million per well in complex deepwater projects.

  • Role: Key Developer
  • Scope: calculation libraries, UI modernization, defect resolution
  • Outcome: successfully launched the Well Placement Plugin to the market and improved overall performance of Petrel

Syngenta AG - Field Trialling Solution

New data-driven digital solution for the field trialling process.

  • Role: Scrum Master, Delivery Manager
  • Scope: mobile application and back-end processing core
  • Outcome: transformed the overall field trialling business process, simplified the user journey, improved real-time data availability, and enhanced capabilities for in-field decision making

BP-Club, Family Team

Delivered and operated high-load loyalty platform. Oversaw multi-year migration of ~30 TB of loyalty data to a new SAP-based platform (part of a ~$10M program; owned one delivery stream).

  • Role: Head of development department
  • Scope: development and maintenance of the processing core, website, mobile applications, admin panels, payment terminal integrations, partner integrations, reporting, and notification subsystems
  • Outcome: сreated a reusable processing platform supporting multiple loyalty programs and ensured a smooth and efficient migration of data to the new platform

Per Aspera Ad Astra

Personal side project, which I sometimes develop in my spare time. It has not yet been publicly announced.

  • Role: Product owner, Game designer, Team Lead
  • Scope: 3d space strategy game for PC using Unreal Engine
  • Outcome: core gameplay mechanics and key game systems have been implemented. The project reflects my long-standing passion for 3D graphics and demonstrates my ability to independently develop and sustain a complex product over multiple years

Project Delivery Manager / Key Developer

  • Directed 4 concurrent programs with distributed teams of up to ~50 engineers across 20 countries.
  • Delivered cloud-native systems supporting high-volume transaction processing and enterprise integrations.
  • Led cloud transformation for PantheRx, modernizing legacy systems and reducing infrastructure overhead by 22%.
  • Led cybersecurity remediation initiatives for Lenovo.
  • Acted as key developer and technical contributor for major upgrade of SLB Petrel Well Placement plugin.

Head of Software Development Department

  • Led 5 teams (up to ~50 FTEs) delivering enterprise systems and transaction-heavy platforms supporting up to ~20M external users and 350K internal users.
  • Transformed division into self-sufficient, profitable unit by restructuring staffing and optimizing technology spend.
  • Established delivery governance and scaled Agile/DevOps practices across teams.
  • Delivered high-load loyalty platform with CRM integration and led multi-year migration of ~30 TB of data to SAP.
  • Acted as hands-on technical lead: solution architecture, code reviews, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.

Senior Team Lead

  • Managed team of 7 engineers and external vendors delivering customer loyalty platform.
  • Built and scaled high-load loyalty engine used by 8 clients including Trade Union of Railway Workers and Dynamo Sports Society, supporting up to ~1.3M members per client.
  • Designed scalable transaction-processing platform and implemented core logic for a software complex that was later acquired by Rosneft together with the engineering unit.
